Usually, WHMIS is taught after hiring, but often times, prospective employers require that we have this training and certification before applying for work. Not having it can really eliminate a lot of great job opportunities.
I found free WHMIS training and certification. I think that it took me less than an hour. Other web sites seem to only give you free training, and make you pay for the certification.
We are embarking on a momentous journey. The FVHRS is moving to a new home in Cloverdale, this year. It is no longer just a vision or a dream in the hearts of rail enthusiasts and civic politicians. If you have tried it, then let me know what you think. I am a bit concerned about the taste. I think that their strawberry frozen yogurt might not have that strong, but approachable, sour taste.
Some US postal workers shared 11 difficulties and successes of their jobs. I found it very fascinating. Now that I have read through the list, I have a lot more respect for them, Canadian postal workers, in the same way that I have respect for other public servants. What they have to put up with is amazing.
