Our Brains Slow Down When We Have Too Much To Do

This article explains that our minds do not react as quickly when we are given too much information. The idea is that our minds need to clear or reset, or something like that.

This is true for me. I find that when I try to play the trumpet really quickly, my mind tends to freeze. From reading a particular book about training people and animals, I get the impression that it just takes repetition.
